How to Play the JANL Stock Market Challenge

Online access to picks, and rank will be available March 23rd, 2009. We have delayed the display for operational purposes.

The contest is simple and easy to play. You get $100,000.00 of FANTASY Money to invest in 1, or up to 8 different stocks at your initial sign up. You can register 2 entries per person. The Closing prices of all the stocks on Friday February 27th, 2009, will be used to calculate the number of initial shares your money buys you. You will then have a period of 3 weeks upon which you must hold your shares (period of time to process all mailed in entry forms) and then you can begin trading as if you were a broker. After 3 weeks, you will have access to trade all or part of your holdings, or convert it to Fantasy Cash. The strategic portion of this contest is to figure out when, where, and how to trade, or move your portfolio around.

Stock Trading will begin on Tuesday March 24th, 2009, and the contest continues till Friday May 29th, 2009 (this is the final day the stock closing prices will be used to determine the final value of your portfolio). You will have access to 30 trades, and this will be the full amount of trades that are available to you for the duration of the contest, per entry.....so use them WISELY!

When you register ONLINE, you will be asked to create a profile with us.....if you have played a contest with Cornerstone Fantasy Sports in the past 6 months, you can use your existing profile. If not, then create a profile using your correct contact info, and create your own username (could be email address), and password. Creating this profile, with username and password will grant you access to the game site by logging in, and utilizing all the functionality such as rankings, information and rankings. Be sure to store your username and password for safe keeping and easy access for later use. Go to the registration section to get started, or the LOGIN section to gain access to your entry(s).

When you register by mail.... you will submit your contact information, and a access password that will be used to recover your entry(s) online. To recover your mailed in entry(s), you need to go to the LOGIN page, and click the button that says " I need to recover my Mailed in entry". This will take you to a section of our website that will ask you for your last name, postal code, and the password you submitted on the entry form you submitted. Once your entry(s) have been found, you will be asked to create a username (can be an email address), add an email address, and to create your own new user password for login. Once you have completed this procedure, you will only need to go to the login section and use your username and password to get into your entry(s). If your entry(s) could not be found, please contact our support system and inform them that your mailed in entry(s) could not be found, and you need assistance in recovering them. In your email to us, please send us your name, address, and the contest you are playing to the following email address: support@cifantasysports.com.
